Denise Robins

Denise Robins (née Denise Naomi Klein) was a prolific English romantic novelist, known as the 'Queen of Romance,' who wrote over 160 Gothic romance novels, short stories, and plays under various pen names including Denise Chesterton and Anne Llewellyn. She was the first President of the Romantic Novelists' Association from 1960 to 1966 and her books sold more than 100 million copies worldwide. Robins published her autobiography Stranger Than Fiction in 1965, detailing her life and enduring belief in love despite a difficult childhood.
