Denise Mina
Denise Mina is a Scottish crime writer, playwright, and graphic novelist born in East Kilbride in 1966, known for her debut novel Garnethill (1998), which won the Crime Writers’ Association John Creasey Award, and the Garnethill trilogy featuring Maureen O’Donnell.[1][2][3] She has authored numerous novels including The Long Drop, graphic novels like Hellblazer, plays, and non-fiction, earning awards such as the Theakstons Old Peculier Crime Novel of the Year and induction into the Crime Writers’ Association Hall of Fame in 2014.[1][2][3]
