Denise Gigante

Denise Gigante is a professor of English at Stanford University, where she teaches British literature with a focus on Romanticism and the longer tradition of poetry and poetics. Her scholarship centers on literary history, book culture, taste, gastronomy, the essay form, and Romantic-era writing; she has authored books including *Book Madness*, *The Keats Brothers*, *Life: Organic Form and Romanticism*, and *Taste: A Literary History*.
