Denis J. Hauptly
Denis J. Hauptly was an American author and lawyer with a BA in American Studies from Saint Michael's College and a JD from the University of Notre Dame.[3] He wrote multiple books on historical and political topics, including works on Puerto Rico, Vietnam, and the U.S. Constitution, and was a recipient of the Benjamin Franklin Award for Best Writing on the Constitution.[6] A native of Jersey City, New Jersey, he lived in Minneapolis, Minnesota.[1][4]
