Demetri Martin
Demetri Evan Martin is an American comedian, actor, writer, director, cartoonist, filmmaker, and musician known for his deadpan delivery, guitar-accompanied jokes, and satirical cartoons.[1] He gained prominence as a contributor and Senior Youth Correspondent on The Daily Show from 2005 to 2008, and created and starred in the Comedy Central series Important Things with Demetri Martin (2009-2010).[1][2] Martin has released comedy albums like These Are Jokes, appeared in films such as Taking Woodstock and Contagion, directed and starred in Dean, and won the Perrier Award at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2003.[1][2][5]
