Deborah Pavan-Langston

Deborah Pavan-Langston is an American ophthalmologist and professor emeritus at Harvard Medical School/Mass Eye and Ear, known for pioneering work in cornea and antiviral eye disease research. She was the first woman to complete Harvard ophthalmology residency training and the first female fellow in Claes Dohlman’s corneal fellowship program, and she authored the long-running textbook *The Manual of Ocular Diagnosis and Therapy*.[1][3]
