Deborah Gregory

Deborah Gregory is an award-winning author, journalist, performer, and designer best known for creating the pop culture phenomenon 'The Cheetah Girls,' a 22-book series published by Disney Publishing Worldwide that was adapted into three Disney Channel original movies. Born in Brooklyn, New York, she entered foster care at age three after her mother was institutionalized, later becoming a fashion model in Europe and a contributing writer for Essence, Entertainment Weekly, and other magazines before launching her bestselling book series in 1999.
