Deborah Dwork

Deborah Dwork is a renowned Holocaust historian and founding Director of the Center for the Study of the Holocaust, Genocide, and Crimes Against Humanity at the CUNY Graduate Center. She previously served as the inaugural Rose Professor of Holocaust History and Founding Director of the Strassler Center for Holocaust and Genocide Studies at Clark University. Her award-winning books include 'Children With a Star,' 'Auschwitz' (co-authored with Robert Jan van Pelt), and 'Holocaust: A History,' pioneering child-centered Holocaust scholarship and oral histories.
