Deborah Chancellor
Deborah Helen Chancellor (née Mowbray), born on 7 July 1966, is an English writer specializing in children's fiction and non-fiction, having authored over 70 books for leading publishers on diverse subjects including biographies, Bible adaptations, and stories for various age groups.[1][2][6] She trained as a primary school teacher before becoming an editor and writer, and resides in rural Essex or Cambridge, England, with her family.[6][8][9]
