Debi Gliori
Debi Gliori is a Scottish author and illustrator of children's picture books and novels, born in Glasgow in 1959, who began writing at age 17 and studied at Edinburgh College of Art, graduating with honors in 1984. She has published over 80 books, including the bestselling 'Mr. Bear' series and the 'Pure Dead' novels, with her colorful, humorous illustrations often accompanying her stories or those of other writers. Living near Edinburgh, she received an honorary Doctorate of Letters from Strathclyde University in 2018.
