David Wilkins

David E. Wilkins is a citizen of the Lumbee Nation and the McKnight Presidential Professorship in American Indian Studies at the University of Minnesota. His scholarship focuses on Native politics, governance, sovereignty, self-determination, diplomacy, and the political and legal relationships between Native nations and U.S. governments.
