David West Reynolds
Dr. David West Reynolds is an archaeologist, author, and Star Wars expert who earned his PhD in archaeology from the University of Michigan after dual degrees in paleontology and archaeology. Raised near the Falls of the Ohio in Indiana, he excavated Roman sites in Egypt and Tunisia, Anasazi ruins in the American Southwest, and Inca Trail in Peru, and notably rediscovered the original Star Wars Tatooine filming locations in Tunisia and Death Valley.[1][3][4][5] This led to his work with Lucasfilm and George Lucas, where he authored best-selling Star Wars guidebooks that sold millions and topped the New York Times list.[1][2]
