David Stuart
David Stuart is an American archaeologist and epigrapher known for his research on ancient Maya civilization, especially the decipherment of Maya hieroglyphs. He is the David and Linda Schele Professor of Mesoamerican Art and Writing at the University of Texas at Austin and has received a MacArthur Fellowship and a Guggenheim Fellowship.
