David Smith

David C. Smith (born August 10, 1952) is an American author of fantasy, horror, historical, and suspense fiction, best known for his heroic fantasy novels including collaborations with Richard L. Tierney on Robert E. Howard characters like Red Sonja. He has written or co-written 26 novels, 2 short story collections, and numerous short stories. Aside from fiction, he has worked primarily as a medical editor, advertising copyeditor, and English teacher.
