David Simmonds

David Timothy Simmonds CBE is a British Conservative Party politician who has served as the Member of Parliament for Ruislip, Northwood and Pinner since December 2019. Previously, he was Deputy Leader of Hillingdon Council from 2002 to 2022 and has held national roles including chairing the Local Government Association's Children and Young People Board. Born in Canterbury, Kent, he was educated in Pontypridd, Durham University, and Birkbeck, with a professional background in finance after qualifying with the Chartered Institute of Insurers in 1997.[1][2][3]
