David Schmader

David Schmader is an American writer, playwright, journalist, and performer based in Seattle. He is known for his solo plays, his longtime work with The Stranger, and his widely recognized annotated screenings of Paul Verhoeven’s *Showgirls*; he also wrote the book *Weed: The User’s Guide*.
