David Redfern

David Redfern (1947–) is a British visual artist born in Burton upon Trent, Staffordshire. He studied Fine Art at Reading University (1965-69) and the Slade School of Fine Art, University College London (1969-71). He worked at the Serpentine Gallery in Kensington Gardens from 1971-1983 and taught art and design at Croydon College from 1984-2011. In 2000, he was elected to The London Group, an artists' collective founded in 1913, and later served as its archivist, publishing a comprehensive history of the group.
