David M. Brewster

Sir David Brewster (1781–1868) was a Scottish scientist, inventor, author, and academic administrator renowned for his pioneering work in physical optics, including the discovery of Brewster's angle and the invention of the kaleidoscope in 1816.[1][2][6]
