David Lehman
David Lehman is an American poet, non-fiction writer, and literary critic born in New York City in 1948. He is the founder and series editor of The Best American Poetry, which he established in 1988, and served as editor of The Oxford Book of American Poetry in 2006. His work spans poetry collections, memoirs, and nonfiction books on topics including the New York School of poets, American popular songs, and Frank Sinatra.
