David K. Lewis

David K. Lewis (1941–2001) was an American philosopher and professor at Princeton University, widely regarded as one of the most influential analytic philosophers of the late 20th century. He is best known for his work on modal realism, as well as major contributions to metaphysics, philosophy of language, philosophy of mind, epistemology, and logic.
