David Isay (Producer)

David Isay is an American radio producer, author, and oral historian known for creating first-person nonfiction stories about ordinary people and social issues. He founded Sound Portraits Productions and later StoryCorps, one of the largest oral history projects in the world, and has received major honors including a MacArthur Fellowship and multiple Peabody Awards.
