David Halliday

David Halliday (1916–2010) was an American physicist renowned for his influential physics textbooks, *Physics* and *Fundamentals of Physics*, co-authored with Robert Resnick. These textbooks have been continuously used since 1960 and are available in more than 47 languages, making him a significant figure in physics education.
