David Goldberg
David Theo Goldberg is a South African-born professor in the United States, renowned for his contributions to critical race theory, digital humanities, and studies on the university.[1] He earned degrees in economics, politics, and philosophy from the University of Cape Town and has served as director of the University of California Humanities Research Institute from 2000 to 2022, while holding positions as Distinguished Professor at UC Irvine in anthropology, comparative literature, and criminology.[1] Goldberg has edited numerous influential collections on race, multiculturalism, and postcolonialism, including Anatomy of Racism and Race Critical Theories.[1]
