David Gilmour

David Gilmour is an English musician best known as the lead guitarist, co-lead vocalist, and writer for the rock band Pink Floyd, which he joined in 1967.[2][3] He has released five solo studio albums, including David Gilmour (1978), About Face (1984), On an Island (2006), Rattle That Lock (2015), and Luck and Strange (2024), achieving three number-one albums on the UK Albums Chart.[2] Renowned for his expressive guitar solos and atmospheric soundscapes, Gilmour met Syd Barrett in Cambridge and has influenced artists like Kate Bush.[1][2][3]
