David Gerrard

David Burr Gerrard was an American novelist known for his works The Epiphany Machine (2017) and Short Century (2014), with his fiction appearing in publications like Playboy, Guernica, and NY Tyrant. He taught creative writing at institutions including The New School, Catapult, the 92nd Street Y, and the Sackett Street Writers' Workshop, and lived in Queens, New York with his wife. He died unexpectedly at the age of 42.
