David Gerbing

David W. Gerbing is a Professor of Quantitative Methods at Portland State University's School of Business, specializing in data science and the creator of the popular R package lessR, which is downloaded over 1200 times weekly and has contributed to his over 86,000 citations. He earned his B.A. in Quantitative Methods from Western Washington State College, M.A. in 1976, and Ph.D. in 1979 from Michigan State University. Joining Portland State in 1987, he serves as the primary technical resource for the Master of Science in Applied Data Science for Business program.
