David Gadsby

David Christopher Gadsby (1947–2019) was a British physiologist and professor emeritus at The Rockefeller University, best known for his research on how ions move across cell membranes. His work significantly advanced understanding of membrane transport and electrical signaling in cells, especially in the heart and in disease processes such as cystic fibrosis.
