David E. Guinn

David E. Guinn is a moral, legal, and political philosopher and lawyer with over 30 years of experience in international development and law. He is a former Executive Director of the International Human Rights Law Institute and Senior Associate and Research Professor of International Law and Human Rights at the SUNY Center for International Development. His expertise spans democracy and governance, human rights, rule of law, religious freedom, post-conflict peacebuilding, and intellectual property, with extensive publications including thirteen books and over 80 articles and book chapters.
