David Byrne (Actor),
David Byrne is a Scottish-American musician, singer, songwriter, visual artist, writer, and filmmaker, best known as the founding member, principal songwriter, lead vocalist, and guitarist of the new wave band Talking Heads, which he co-founded in 1975 in New York City. Born in Dumbarton, Scotland, he moved to the U.S. as a child, released solo albums after the band's 1991 disbandment, and has worked across media including film, opera, theater, and non-fiction. He has received Academy, Grammy, and Golden Globe Awards, and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
