David Britton

David Britton (1945-2020) was a British author, artist, and editor who co-founded the controversial publisher Savoy Books in 1976 with Michael Butterworth. He is best known for his novel Lord Horror (1990), which became the last book to be banned in Britain for obscenity in 1991, making him part of a literary legacy alongside Joyce, D.H. Lawrence, and Nabokov.
