Dave Marks

Dave Marks is the founder of National Writing Institute and author of the popular Writing Strands and Reading Strands series of educational books.[1] He holds a Bachelor's degree from Western Michigan University, a Master's degree from Central Michigan University, and completed additional graduate work in English at Eastern Michigan University and Michigan State University.[1] After 30 years of teaching writing across multiple educational levels, he retired and now works as a poet and university professor.[1]
