Dave Elman
Dave Elman (born David Kopelman), a Jewish American radio host, comedian, songwriter, and pioneering hypnotist, was inspired to study hypnosis after witnessing it relieve his father's cancer pain. He gained fame as the creator and host of the popular radio show 'Hobby Lobby' and later taught rapid hypnosis techniques to doctors and dentists for pain control. His seminal book 'Hypnotherapy' (1964) introduced the influential Elman Induction method, revolutionizing modern hypnotherapy.
