Dave Duncan
David John Duncan (1933–2018) was a Scottish-born Canadian author of fantasy and science fiction, who worked as a petroleum geologist for nearly three decades before becoming a full-time writer in 1986. He penned over fifty books, including notable series like Seventh Sword, and also wrote under pseudonyms Ken Hood and Sarah B. Franklin. Duncan was a founder and honorary life member of SF Canada.
