Dave Dravecky
Dave Dravecky is an American former professional baseball player, motivational speaker, and author who played as a left-handed pitcher for the San Diego Padres (1982–87) and San Francisco Giants (1987–89). After being diagnosed with cancer in his pitching arm in 1988, he made a remarkable comeback to pitch in the majors in 1989 before ultimately having his arm amputated in 1991. He has since dedicated his life to motivational speaking and founding the Endurance ministry to help cancer patients.
