Darwin Porter; Danforth Prince

Darwin Porter (born September 13, 1937, in Greensboro, North Carolina) is an American travel writer renowned for authoring numerous Frommer's guidebooks over a 50-year career, later transitioning to pop culture journalism, celebrity biographies, and histories published by Blood Moon Productions. He frequently collaborates with Danforth Prince, a former New York Times reporter who directs Blood Moon Productions, on travel guides and biographical works. Porter holds a B.A. from the University of Miami (1959) and has worked for major publishers including Arthur Frommer, Prentice-Hall, and Macmillan Travel.[1][3]
