Darwin Gross

Darwin Gross (1928–2008) was an American spiritual teacher who succeeded Paul Twitchell as the leader of Eckankar in 1971, serving as the 'Living ECK Master' until 1981. After appointing Harold Klemp as his successor, Gross was excommunicated from Eckankar and founded his own religious organization, Ancient Teachings of the Masters (ATOM), in 1983. He was also an accomplished vibraphone musician and prolific author of spiritual and self-help books.
