Darrin P. Lunde

Darrin P. Lunde is a mammalogist and author with over 35 years of experience, having worked at the American Museum of Natural History from 1991 to 2010 and currently serving as Supervisory Museum Specialist in the Division of Mammals at the Smithsonian's National Museum of Natural History.[1][2][4] He has led field expeditions worldwide, named over a dozen new mammal species, and authored children's books on animals including the Theodor Seuss Geisel Award Honor Book Hello, Bumblebee Bat.[1][5] Lunde resides in the Washington, DC area.[5]
