Darrell Bain

Darrell Bain was an American author born in Shreveport, Louisiana, in 1939, who served 13 years in the military with two stints in Vietnam that inspired his first novel, Medics Wild, and its sequels. He graduated from Fresno State University in 1978 with a degree in surveying and photogrammetry before pursuing a writing career spanning science fiction and other genres. Bain authored over 113 books, including the popular Samantha's Talent, and passed away in Sun City, Arizona.
