Danielle Joseph is a South African-born author of children’s, middle-grade, and young adult books, including *Shrinking Violet*, *Indigo Blues*, *Pure Red*, *Sydney A. Frankel’s Summer Mix-Up*, and *Ruth First Never Backs Down*. Her novel *Shrinking Violet* was adapted into the Disney Channel Original Movie *Radio Rebel*, and she lives in Maryland with her family.
