Daniel Rosenfeld, known professionally as C418, is a German musician, producer, and sound engineer born in Chemnitz, Eastern Germany, in 1989. He gained worldwide fame as the composer and sound designer for Minecraft, creating its iconic ambient soundtrack, and continues to contribute to the game while pursuing other musical projects.[3][6][7]
