Daniel N. Rockmore

Daniel N. Rockmore, born December 5, 1961, in Boston, Massachusetts, is an American mathematician, educator, and writer specializing in computational science.[1][2] He earned his A.B. from Princeton University in 1984 and his Ph.D. from Harvard University in 1989, joining Dartmouth College in 1991 where he now serves as the William H. Neukom 1964 Distinguished Professor of Computational Science, Professor of Mathematics and Computer Science, and Director of the Neukom Institute for Computational Science.[2][3][6] His research focuses on complex systems, network analysis, machine learning, cultural evolution, and group theoretic transforms, and he is an external faculty member at the Santa Fe Institute.[5][6]
