Daniel Grosch

Daniel S. Grosch (1918-1992) was a professor emeritus in the genetics department at North Carolina State University, where he served as faculty for 39 years before retiring in 1985.[1] Prior to academia, he worked as a parasitologist in the Army Medical Corps and as an instructor in the Navy Flight Program at the University of Pennsylvania during World War II.[1] His research focused on the life cycles of protozoa, radiation-induced sterility, ion regulation in Tetrahymena and mammalian red cells, and contributions to the taxonomy of amoebae and ciliates.[1]
