Daniel Black

Daniel Black is a nationally renowned, award-winning novelist and professor of African American Studies at Clark Atlanta University, known for his works exploring African American life, history, and heritage in the South. Born in Kansas City, Kansas, and raised in rural Blackwell, Arkansas, he is also an activist, diversity consultant, and founder of the Ndugu-Nzinga Rites of Passage mentoring society. His notable novels include 'They Tell Me of a Home,' 'The Coming,' and 'Perfect Peace,' and he frequently speaks on issues of race, religion, and identity as a Black gay man in the United States.
