Dani Shapiro

Dani Shapiro is an American writer born on April 10, 1962, in New York City, known for her six novels including Signal Fires and bestselling memoirs such as Inheritance and Devotion. She is also the host of the podcast Family Secrets and has taught creative writing at institutions including Columbia University and NYU. Her work has been published in fourteen languages and won the National Jewish Book Award.
