Dana M. Polanichka
Dana M. Polanichka is an associate professor of history at Wheaton College in Massachusetts, specializing in late antique and medieval political and cultural history, particularly gender, sexuality, and scandal at the Carolingian court.[1][2][3] She earned her A.B. in Medieval Studies from Dartmouth College and M.A. and Ph.D. in History from the University of California, Los Angeles, and has been at Wheaton since around 2009.[1][2] Her research focuses on early medieval European history, including the Carolingian realm, religion, royal power, and the gendered body in church and court.[2]
