Dana M. Britton

Dana M. Britton is a Professor and Chair of the Department of Labor Studies and Employment Relations at Rutgers University, New Brunswick, and former Director of the Center for Women and Work. She earned her Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Texas at Austin in 1995 and previously served as editor of Gender & Society from 2007 to 2011. Her research focuses on gender in sex-segregated organizations and occupations, work, sexuality, and social control, with notable books including The Gender of Crime.
