Dana Lamb

Dana Upton Lamb was an American adventurer and author best known for his three-year, 16,000-mile canoe expedition with his wife Ginger from 1933 to 1936, traveling down the Pacific coasts of Mexico, Guatemala, and Costa Rica to the Panama Canal. He chronicled these adventures in his books Enchanted Vagabonds (1938) and Quest for the Lost City (1951), the latter of which was adapted into a feature film in 1954. Throughout his life, Lamb maintained extensive records of his activities and continued exploring and lecturing about his adventures.
