Dana Haynes

Dana Haynes is a novelist and former journalist who spent over 20 years in Oregon newspaper newsrooms as a reporter, columnist, and editor, later serving as spokesman for the mayor of Portland and public affairs manager for Portland Community College. A native of the Pacific Northwest living in Portland, Oregon, he debuted with the thriller *Crashers* in 2010 under his own name after publishing earlier mysteries as Conrad Haynes. His works include award-winning thrillers like *Crashers*, which won the Spotted Owl Award, and recent novels such as *St. Nicholas Salvage & Wrecking* (2019) and *The Saint of Thieves* (2023).[1][2][3]
