Dan Undersander

Dan Undersander is a retired Extension and Research Forage Agronomist from the Department of Plant and Agroecosystem Sciences at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He specialized in forage management, including alfalfa variety trials, grass germplasms, grazed pastures, and near-infrared spectroscopy equations for forage testing. Undersander contributed extensively through research, extension programs, and publications on hay, silage, and grazing practices.
