Dan Kainen
Dan Kainen is an artist, designer, and inventor living in New York City, best known as the creator of the New York Times best-selling series of Photicular Books published by Workman Publishing.[2] He developed the Motion Viewer, the basis for books like Safari, which features integrated imaging technology.[2][4] Born and raised in Washington DC, he is the son of painter and Smithsonian curator Jacob Kainen.[2]
